Service Description: Addresses elder abuse through education, advocacy and liaison with community resources * multidisciplinary case consultation * training and resources for professionals and the general public available upon request * assistance with referrals


Health Canada recently launched an online questionnaire to solicit views from Canadians on:
  • the quality and safety of LTC
  • our ability to meet the national LTC standards
  • opportunities to address health human resource challenges in LTC; and
  • public reporting on LTC

The online questionnaire also includes targeted questions for people who self-identify as Indigenous, to solicit perspectives of First Nations, Inuit and Métis people with respect to culturally safe LTC services * the Consultation on Safe Long-Term Care - Canada.ca questionnaire will be open until September 21, 2023
