National, federal, provincial and municipal policing body * enforcement of federal statues and the Criminal Code * priorities of disrupting organized crime and terrorist activities
Criminal intelligence * investigations of drug trafficking organizations, commercial crime and smuggling * enforcement of 270 federal statutes within four programs: consumer protection, environmental protection, financial loss to government, and public safety
Promotes prevention and education through media releases and information sessions for schools and citizens * participates in community activities and events
