Service Description: Community-based child, youth and family mental health centre * assessment, counselling and treatment for children and families * consultant services available for assessment and psychological testing * psychiatric and other specialized assessments

Specialized Programs
  • Early Years (0-6 years) - Comprehensive assessment and interventions services to children in their home, school and community
  • Intensive In-Home Service (0-17 years and their families) - Brief, intensive, in-home and in-school support and intervention for families
  • Urgent/Crisis Service (0-17 years and their families) - Ensures a therapist is available when an urgent assessment must take place * help is also available after normal working hours for urgent telephone consultation

Children and Teen Programs
  • K.I.D.S. Group (Kid’s Ideas About Divorce and Separation) - 8-week co-ed program for children ages 6-8 and 9-12 experiencing difficulties with their parents' divorce or separation
  • Anger Solutions Group - 8-week co-ed program for children ages 7-9 experiencing anger problems
  • Worry Warriors (ages 9-12) 8-week co-ed group for children ages 9-11 experiencing difficulties with anxiety
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (ages 14-18) 16-week program for youth and support person who wants coping skills

Application: Attend a Walk-In program to register
Eligibility / Target Population: Newborn to youth 18 years and their parents/caregivers
