Employment Services - Staff assist job seekers with resume and cover letter writing, online applications and job searching * computers, printers, internet, photocopier, fax and telephone available for use free of charge * resources available for creating resumes and cover letters and researching post-secondary education and apprenticeship programs * no appointment needed, drop in * appointments available at satellite locations in Dundalk, Durham, Flesherton, Markdale, Meaford and Thornbury - call 519-371-9222 for an appointment

Job Seeker Supports - Employment Advisors provide job search assistance for people who are unemployed, under-employed, laid-off, searching for a first job or looking to re-enter the workforce * email employment@osgb.ymca.ca

Employer Supports - YMCA staff work with employers to qualify for financial hiring incentives, provide candidate referrals, and advertise job opportunities on the free Job Board * email employment@osgb.ymca.ca

Rural Housing and Homelessness Outreach
- Provides assistance to adults in Bruce County, and youth 16 and over in Grey or Bruce County, who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or dealing with other housing issues * services and support are provided in the location that is easiest for the client to access * in situations of immediate need, emergency short-term shelter may be arranged * an action plan will be created and implemented to find, secure, and maintain longer-term housing * assistance with Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP) applications, utility arrears, identification services, food security, referrals to employment, eviction prevention, and encampment support are also available * email housing@osgb.ymca.ca

Settlement and Language Services
- Offers support to newcomers * services include community connection activities, newcomer workplace support, Language Instruction for Newcomers (LINC) English language classes, citizenship preparation, Settlement Workers in Schools (SWIS), information, orientation, and referrals for community and government services * email settlement@osgb.ymca.ca

Community Justice - Programs for youth and adults involved in minor crimes * programs include Youth Justice Circle, Diversion/Restorative Justice programs, Youth Crime Prevention and Awareness, Community Service Orders for adults * email justice@osgb.ymca.ca

Youth in Transition Worker Program - Offers support to young adults as they transition out of the child welfare system into independent living * program helps young adults identify and pursue personal goals, connect with community supports and promote healthy lifestyle choices * email yitw@osgb.ymca.ca

Youth Gambling Awareness Program - Prevention and education program aimed at youth 8-24 years of age as well as those who influence and work with youth * age appropriate presentations are designed to support youth to develop strategies to reduce the harm associated with youth gambling * email gambling@osgb.ymca.ca
